Although we cannot refund accounts for these absences, we will be happy to schedule a student to make up any missed classes. To schedule a make-up class, please call the ABJ Office to find out when make-up times are available.

Inclement Weather

During times of severe weather, such as but not limited to, snow, tornadoes, and hurricanes, the Academy of Ballet & Jazz strongly emphasizes that safety is out top priority. When/if the Tuscaloosa City/County School systems close schools due to inclement weather, the Academy of Ballet & Jazz will follow suit. We realize that many ABJ students travel from many miles in the surrounding areas; therefore, if weather in Tuscaloosa permits class to be hed, ABJ will have regularly scheduled class. However, we always encourage everyone to use their best judgment in deciding to travel to the studio during severe weather.
